Since the terms like job satisfaction and job attitude are used interchangeably but still there is difference among the both to some extent. The job satisfaction can be treated as the specific subsets of the attitudes. The attitude of a person tells a lot about his opinion, liking or disliking of a person. Job satisfaction tells a lot about the attitude of the person related to the job. The attitude is related to the predispositions to respond however satisfaction is related to the performance factors. Attitudes are the long lasting one but the satisfaction is the dynamic process. The satisfaction of the person keeps on changing. It can decline more quickly as compared to the rate it is developed. It is the duty of the manager to pay attention to these kinds of the things and avoid dissatisfaction in the mind of the employees.
